Introduction.
O’Leary Medical Ltd (OLM) is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business operations and supply chains. Modern slavery, including forced labour, servitude, and human trafficking, is a violation of fundamental human rights, and we adopt a zero-tolerance approach to it.
Our Business.
We are an SME based in Ireland, operating in the Medical Device Distribution industry. Although the risk of modern slavery within our direct business is extremely low, we recognize the responsibility to be vigilant and to prevent exploitation in our supply chain.
Our Commitment and Policies.
· We are dedicated to conducting business ethically and complying with all relevant legislation, including the Criminal Law (Human Trafficking) Act 2008 and its amendments.
· Our procurement processes are designed to prevent modern slavery by requiring our suppliers to adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct.
· We conduct an appropriate level of risk assessment and due diligence for our suppliers.
· We encourage openness and support staff in reporting concerns.
Supply Chain Management.
· All our suppliers are expected to demonstrate a commitment to integrity in their operations.
Actions and Continuous Improvement.
· We review our policies and relationships with suppliers regularly.
· Any concerns identified regarding modern slavery will be investigated, and appropriate action will be taken, including the possibility of terminating supplier relationships if a violation is confirmed.
Future Plans.
We are committed to ongoing improvement in our practices, exploring further training for staff, and enhancing supplier engagement and due diligence processes.
